Prefects Helping Lift Bags
We are glad because now the younger students are helped.
Prefects on duty will carry any heavy bags from the staircase.
This has lessen down accidents and traffic congestion on the stairway.
As seen in the video, the prefect would stand in a row and pass on the bags to one another until it reaches to the higher floor. In this way the bags are easily lifted to the higher floors. In the past the younger students had lots of difficulties in going up the staircase.

2) Solution proposed by teachers of SKSBS
The teachers had proposed that the students organise and place their books in separate plastic folders for each subjects.
Thereafter, these folders are placed in the lockers. When needed, only the selected books are taken out. This will ensure that the books are well organised and can be taken out of the lockers fast.
This will also ensure that the lockers are kept neat.
Refer to the demo below which is done by a Teacher who is also a Parent in our school.

To further resolve the issue, the school intends to put up this study and suggestions to the Ministry of Education of Malaysia.
Part of the suggestions are to :
- copy the actions implemented by us, to all other schools in Malaysia
- print thinner books. Text books may be separate into various parts so that students only bring the part book which is being used
- implement longer time period for per subject to lessen amount of subjects in a day
- increase the use of IT resources so that lesser books are used.
